Job Overview
The Collaborative Public Safety Programs (CPSP) team was created in recognition of the fact that many existing and emerging safety issues require collaborative responses which include the public safety, health, and social service sectors. CPSP works in a coordinated fashion with government ministries, police agencies, municipalities, Indigenous groups, academics, and community partners to implement evidence-based crime reduction strategies.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Master’s degree in public policy, public administration, criminology, social sciences, political science, or related discipline and one (1) year of *related experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in public policy, public administration, criminology, social sciences, political science, or related discipline and two (2) years of *related experience OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and *related experience may be considered.
  • *Related experience must include each of the following:
    • Working with stakeholders, partner agencies, and senior management.
    • Developing, implementing and managing statistical/research/evaluation projects of significant size, complexity, and importance.

Preference may be given to applicants with experience:

  • Supporting multi-agency collaborative models.
  • Additional years of experience in any of the requirements or preferences above.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available. This position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement. Please contact the hiring manager for further details or if you have any questions.
