Job Overview:
The Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre is one component of the provincial Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) service network. It is designated under the Mental Health Act as a provincial tertiary mental health facility. Through its programs and services, it supports communities in caring for and treating troubled youth with significant psychiatric and behavioural difficulties, aged 12 to 17 inclusive.

The Maples’ Training Analyst position reports to the Program Coordinator of Operations. The primary focus of work is developing, delivering and/or coordinating training programs that support the clinical, health and safety agenda of the agency. The Training Analyst will address emerging training needs driven by agency and ministry priorities. The Training officer will ensure ongoing evaluation of training programs and services.  This position is responsible for ensuring agency training records, training materials, and technology supports are maintained and kept current.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Diploma in adult education or a related field plus related training development and coordination experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • Experience in social sciences, mental health, or psychiatric settings.
  • Experience facilitating and delivering training to adult learners, including presentations and workshops for diverse audiences
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Applications, and other software applications to manage training records, analyze data, monitor compliance, and generate reports

About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until January 02, 2027. This position may be extended or become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to one (1) day at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
