Job Overview
This position will support the Habitat Restoration and Enhancement Branch in creating the conditions needed to deliver restoration outcomes that support healthy ecosystems, resilient communities, and a strong economy. The Branch was established to help advance restoration across British Columbia by improving coordination, reducing challenges, supporting local leadership, and aligning information, funding, and government processes. 
This position will provide technical project management coordination functions for a variety of large-scale complex projects throughout the project management life cycle (i.e., initiation, planning, execution, control, and close-out) and is directly accountable for assigned portions (e.g., sub projects) of larger projects as a project team member. To maintain all project documentation such as project charter, status reports, approvals, costs and risks, and close-out. 

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Master’s degree and no formal work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 months of related experience; OR
  • Diploma and 1 year related experience; OR
  • Certificate or coursework and 2 years related experience; OR
  • Secondary School graduation (Dogwood, GED) and 3 years related experience; OR
  • Evergreen and 4 years related experience OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


Related Experience must include:

  • Experience providing project management coordination and support.

This position can be based in a Natural Resource Sector office. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home up to 5 days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
