The Team
Join the Okanagan Production Insurance Team, an established team of 12 professionals located throughout the Okanagan Valley. The team includes management, administrative, and technical staff who work together to support BC agricultural producers through the Production Insurance program. In this role, you will collaborate with Production Insurance Representatives, technicians, claims staff, administrative professionals, and management across the Business Risk Management Branch. The team's work plays an important role in delivering risk management services that help support stability and resilience within British Columbia's agriculture sector.
The Role
As the primary administrative support for the Kelowna Production Insurance office, you will be the first point of contact for clients while providing administrative support to staff and producers. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting BC agricultural producers through programs that help manage production risks and promote the long-term sustainability of the agriculture sector. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
• Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
• Minimum three years related experience (Administration support role, customer service support role, reception, and clerical roles etc.)
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered (I.e., a Diploma or Degree in a related field and less years of direct work experience)
Preference may be given to applicants with:
• 4 or more years of related experience (Administration support role, customer service support role, reception, and clerical roles etc.)

This position is based out of Kelowna.
This is a temporary opportunity until 10/15/2027. This position may be extended or become permanent.
This position has full time on-site requirements.
