Job Overview
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will aim to make the province’s roads safer to users by leveraging your IT expertise. You will provide RoadSafetyBC with project management, business analysis and planning services for ongoing and emerging business and technology needs. This will include everything from building and maintaining internal tools and dashboards, to solving technical problems to promote efficient service to the public and partners. A significant part of your role will be creating trusting and strong relationships with partners and clients as you collaborate to improve system integrations and improve DevOps processes to make deployments easier and faster.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Certificate or higher (diploma, degree, etc.) in the computer science field or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience providing business analysis on high risk projects, including management of financial and human resources.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in product design and practices gained working in a product, project orservice capacity.
- Recent (within the past two (2) years) experience managing complex IM/IT projects with multiple interdependencies including major business transformations, strategic communications and the oversight of system integrators.
- Preference may be given to candidates with experience working in an Agile, digital product-focused development environment with User Experience teams, designers and developers to iteratively create and improve digital products and services.
