The Team
The Business Risk Management Branch delivers programs that support British Columbia’s agricultural sector, including AgriStability, Production Insurance, and Wildlife Damage Compensation. The Regional Support Clerk works closely with producers, verification and claims staff, and other stakeholders to provide administrative support and ensure program information, applications, and services are delivered accurately and efficiently.
The Role
The Regional Support Clerk provides customer service and clerical support for Business Risk Management programs, serving as a primary point of contact for inquiries, applications, and program documentation. This role assists clients with forms and application processes, schedules appointments, processes fees and submissions, gathers information to support verification and claims activities, and helps ensure program timelines and administrative requirements are met.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
- Minimum three years related experience (Administration support role, customer service support role, reception, and clerical roles etc.)
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered (I.e., a Diploma or Degree in a related field and less years of direct work experience)
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- 4 or more years of related experience (Administration support role, customer service support role, reception, and clerical roles etc.)
