Job Overview
The Personnel & Lottery Registration Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the assessment and tracking of Gaming Worker and Lottery Retailer registration applications and supporting the effective delivery of the Personnel & Lottery Registration program. The position oversees the intake and initial review of registration applications, the preparation and distribution of registration documents, and the collection and reconciliation of registration fees. The position works closely with Gaming Service Providers, the BC Lottery Corporation and other stakeholders to support compliance with registration requirements. The Personnel & Lottery Registration Team Lead reports to the Director, Licensing and Personnel & Lottery Registration and supervises Program Officers.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Grade 12 Graduation or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of two years related work experience in:
- Resolving issues received from the team, public or organizations.
- Developing processes, procedures and standards.
- Minimum of one-year experience in the supervision of staff. Preference may be given to applicants with direct supervisory experience.
- Experience planning, organizing and managing a large volume of diverse tasks.
- Experience working in a regulatory environment applying the principals of administrative law.

About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until November 20th, 2027. This position may be extended or become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to # days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
