Job Overview
The Grant Analyst supports the delivery of the Civil Forfeiture Grant Program by reviewing, assessing, and monitoring grant applications and funded projects under the Grant Program. This role plays a key part in ensuring that grant funding is used responsibly and that funded projects deliver meaningful benefits to communities, victims, and service providers.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Diploma or higher in post-secondary education in a related field such as public administration, social sciences, criminology, business administration, or another relevant discipline; AND
  • A minimum of 2 years of *related experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.


*Related experience must include one or more of the following:

  • Experience providing complex information and advice to clients or the public regarding programs or services.
  • Experience interpreting and applying guidelines, policy or procedures in a work environment that assesses applications.
  • Experience with making and communicating substantive decisions affecting other people under tight timelines.


Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Experience in program or project evaluation, grant administration, contract management, or a related area involving structured review and assessment of applications, proposals, or reports.
  • Experience analyzing financial or accounting statements and budgets, with a working knowledge of accounting principles such as reviewing expenditures, tracking spending, or monitoring compliance with funding requirements.
  • Experience analysing information and preparing summaries or recommendations, preferably in a government, non-profit or community-based setting.

2 Positions are available.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
