The Team
Mineral Titles Branch is a multidisciplinary team located in Vancouver and throughout the province who are responsible for administering British Columbia's mineral, placer, and coal tenure system and maintaining the integrity of provincial title registries. The team supports responsible resource development by delivering efficient, transparent, and accessible services to industry, Indigenous Nations, government partners, and the public.

The Role
Reporting to the Executive Director and Chief Gold Commissioner, the NRS Office Coordinator serves as a shared resource for Natural Resource Sector (NRS) staff working out of the Vancouver office. The Coordinator is responsible for the management of shared drop in space and serves as the first point of contact for staff and members of the public visiting the office. They oversee day-to-day office operations and provide all manner of supports, including office administration/secretarial functions, human resources, payroll, records management, facilities and asset management, safety and security. The NRS Office Coordinator will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service at the downtown office. They will monitor workspace usage and be the primary contact for booking enquiries. With over 150 registered occasional and regular users, this position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with diverse teams, learn about the natural resource ministries and deliver exceptional service to both industry partners and the public. 

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

•    Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
•    Experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff.

Preference may be given to applicants with: 
•    At least 1 year of experience providing client services to a diverse range of individuals, organizations and industries
•    Experience multi-tasking often in demanding and fast paced environments
•    Experience providing client service in confrontational or sensitive situations
•    Experience using standard office software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
