The Team
Funding Models and Capital Grants Branch, $10-a-Day team, plays a key role in supporting one of British Columbia’s most important child care initiatives by helping make quality, affordable child care more accessible for families across the province. This established and collaborative team brings together service delivery managers, analysts, client relations coordinators, program support staff, and leaders who work closely with partners across government to administer funding agreements, support child care providers, and ensure consistent program delivery.

The Role
As a Program Evaluation Analyst, you will help strengthen and improve the $10 a Day ChildCareBC program by analyzing program data, business processes, operational trends, and performance measures to support informed, evidence-based decision-making. You will develop reports, quality assurance tools, and recommendations that help identify risks, improve service delivery, and support the ongoing evolution of child care funding models across British Columbia.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Master’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Statistics, or a field related to the program area and 1 year of related experience; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Statistics, or a field related to the program area and 2 years of related experience; OR
- Diploma in Public Administration, Business Administration, Statistics, or a field related to the program area and 3 years related experience; OR
- Certificate or coursework in Public Administration, Business Administration, Statistics, or a field related to the program area and 4 years related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Related experience must include:
- One (1) year communicating with senior management, including making policy or program recommendations, developing reports and/or communicating findings.
- Six (6) months experience in analyzing and evaluating program performance.
- Six (6) months managing projects and/or project components independently.
Preference may be given to candidates with experience in one (1) or more of the following:
- Working with data in excel to inform program policy decisions.
- Working within the Child Care sector and/or Child Care programs.
- Additional years of experience in any of above job requirements and/or preferences.

About this Position:
