The Team
The Lease Administration Team is a collaborative team of four professionals responsible for administering more than 750 leases on behalf of the Province. Working closely with Leasing Assistants, Lease Managers, CBRE, and private sector landlords, the team delivers financial analysis, lease administration, and reconciliation reviews that help ensure value for taxpayers. The Role
As a Lease Analyst, you will conduct financial analysis, landlord reconciliation reviews, and lease administration activities to help ensure accurate payments, lease compliance, and responsible stewardship of public funds. This fast-paced role offers opportunities to build expertise in lease interpretation, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving while working with a diverse range of partners and clients. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant post-secondary education. 
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in commercial property management and commercial real estate leasing. 
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience developing and analyzing financial and account statements, including account reconciliations.
  • Experience creating and working with legal documents in a commercial real estate environment.
  • Experience dealing with the provincial land titles system, covenants, leases and tenancies.
  • Experience in contract management.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • Three (3) or more years of experience in account reconciliations and analyzing financial statements.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in commercial real estate leasing.
  • Experience in contract negotiation.
  • Experience referencing, interpreting and applying legislative and/or regulatory documentation as it pertains to commercial real estate.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available, this position may be able to work one (1) or more days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future permanent vacancies.
