The Team
The Economic Operations team delivers economic development and community transition services across British Columbia, supporting communities affected by significant economic disruption and helping them build long-term resilience.

The Role
The Community Adjustment Manager leads and coordinates tailored recovery, and transition supports by working collaboratively with local and Indigenous governments, employers, workers, service providers, and community partners to address immediate challenges while advancing economic development, diversification, and sustainable community growth.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, public administration, or a related field and three (3) years of related* experience.

  • *Related experience must include all of the following:

    • Experience working with a variety of government, corporate and/or communities with internal and external partners.
    • Experience assessing multi-partner perspectives and priorities to develop strategic plans and partner engagement.
    • Experience developing and managing multi-partner projects.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • Three (3) years’ experience in economic development in a rural community environment.

Provisos /Willingness statement:

  • Must possess/maintain a valid Class 5 (minimum) BC Driver's License and be willing to travel.

About this Position:
Remote work is allowed, this position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia subject to an approved telework agreement. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
