The Team
The Personnel & Lottery Registration team is part of the Independent Gambling Control Office (IGCO) and plays an important role in supporting the integrity of British Columbia’s gambling sector. Working alongside Program Officers, Investigators, a Compliance Officer, and leadership, the team reviews and administers Gaming Worker and Lottery Retailer registrations while collaborating with internal partners and organizations such as the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. The Role
As a Team Lead with the Personnel & Lottery Registration team, you will provide day-to-day leadership and support to a team of Program Officers responsible for processing registration applications across British Columbia. The Team Lead may also provide support to other teams within LRCO based on operational needs. This role combines people leadership, operational oversight, problem-solving, and continuous improvement to help ensure registration services are delivered in a timely, consistent, and fair manner.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Grade 12 Graduation or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of two (2) years related work experience in:
- Resolving issues received from the team, public or organizations.
- Developing processes, procedures and standards.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in the supervision of staff. Preference may be given to applicants with direct supervisory experience.
- Experience planning, organizing and managing a large volume of diverse tasks.
- Experience working in a regulatory environment applying the principles of administrative law.

About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until November 20th, 2027. This position may be extended or become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
