The Funding Models and Capital Grants Branch, $10-a-Day team supports the delivery of one of British Columbia’s key child care initiatives by working closely with providers participating in the $10 a Day ChildCareBC program. This collaborative and established team helps administer funding agreements, provide operational support, and ensure program requirements are applied consistently to support affordable, accessible child care across the province.
The Role
The Client Relations Coordinator is a relationship-focused role that works directly with child care providers to support program participation, respond to inquiries, and assist with funding agreement and reporting processes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile and evolving program while helping reduce child care costs for families and supporting the delivery of quality child care services throughout British Columbia
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Diploma in business administration, public administration, or a related field; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Minimum 1 year experience in each of the following:
o Providing written and verbal correspondence of decisions to clients and/or stakeholders.
o Contract negotiations and/or contract management.
o Assessing information and ensuring it complies with regulations, policies and/or legislation.
Preference may be given to candidates with:
- Experience building relationships with internal and external partners.
- Experience interpreting complex information involving multiple considerations to support decision-making.
- Experience performing financial analysis, including reviewing budgets and financial information.
- Experience in government Child Care Programs (i.e. $10 a Day, ACCB, CCOF).
- Fluency in English and French.
- Additional years of experience in any of the above experience requirements and/or preferences.

About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until 09/30/2027. This position may be extended or become permanent.
