The Team:
The Operations and Learning & Development Team at the Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre is a collaborative and evolving team dedicated to supporting staff onboarding, training, professional development, and organizational learning across a provincial mental health organization serving youth, families, and communities throughout British Columbia. Although small in size, the team has a broad impact across the organization, working closely with clinicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, child care counsellors, managers, administrative professionals, subject matter experts, and external training providers to strengthen staff capacity and advance a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
As part of an established organization and growing learning portfolio, the team plays a key role in supporting organizational priorities, enhancing workforce development, and delivering meaningful learning opportunities that contribute to high-quality services and positive outcomes for youth and families. The Role:
The Training Analyst is responsible for developing, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating training programs that support the Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre's clinical, operational, health, and safety priorities. This dynamic role combines facilitation, relationship-building, project coordination, and continuous improvement with the operational and administrative functions that ensure learning programs run effectively, including training records management, budget tracking, reporting, data analysis, and coordination of learning resources and systems.
Through collaboration with diverse professionals across the organization, the Training Analyst helps strengthen staff knowledge, skills, and confidence, ultimately supporting high-quality services for youth, families, and communities throughout British Columbia. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Diploma in adult education or a related field plus related training development and coordination experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
- Experience in social sciences, mental health, or psychiatric settings.
- Experience facilitating and delivering training to adult learners, including presentations and workshops for diverse audiences.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manage track records, analyze data, monitor compliance, and generate reports.
- Experience using other Microsoft Office Applications and other software applications to manage training records, analyze data, monitor compliance, and generate reports.

About this Position:
There is one (1) full time permanent position available.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to one (1) day at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
