The Team
BCTS Provincial Operations is a well-established, multi-disciplinary team of resource professionals that provides leadership in strategic planning, policy development, program implementation, and relationship building across British Columbia. As the Manager, Partner Relations, you will work closely with the 18-person Tenure Operations & Sustainability team and collaborate with colleagues, First Nations, industry partners, communities, and forestry organizations to support inclusive and sustainable forestry outcomes. The Role
This role is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of BC Timber Sales by leading policy, program, and partnership initiatives that support a sustainable and evolving forest sector. As the Manager, Partner Relations, you will work with diverse partners, including First Nations, communities, industry organizations, and government teams, to build strong relationships, advance collaborative solutions, and support informed decision-making on complex and emerging priorities. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in business administration, public administration, related field or equivalent.
- Experience in leadership roles in a professional service, sales, or management environment.
- Experience in creating and delivering executive-level presentations for the purpose of decision making.
- Experience establishing collaborative relationships with senior leaders and leading organizational change associated with implementation.
- Experience leading and coaching multi-disciplinary senior management teams in the development and implementation of a diverse range of projects. \

This position is excluded from union membership.
This is a temporary opportunity until October 29, 2027. This position may be extended or become permanent.
This position can be based in any Ministry of Forests office. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
