The Team
Project Delivery Services (PDS) is a collaborative and experienced team within the Ministry of Infrastructure that delivers project planning, development, procurement, and construction services for public infrastructure projects across British Columbia. Working alongside government clients, consultants, contractors, and technical specialists, the team helps deliver and maintain facilities that support essential public services, including healthcare, education, office accommodation, and other community infrastructure.

The Role
The Project Coordinator is a key member of the project team, providing project management coordination and contract administration support throughout the lifecycle of infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in building a career in project management, offering exposure to planning, procurement, design, construction, and project close-out while contributing to projects that create lasting value for communities across British Columbia.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  •  Post-secondary education or training in the area of project/construction management, or equivalent. 
  • Post-secondary education or training in accounting, financial management and contract administration, or directly related experience. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suit of applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, MS Project, One Note)


Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • 3 years experience providing project/contract management and coordination services for assigned projects. 
  • Procurement experience.

About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until 03/31/2028. This position may be extended or become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and/or permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
