Description

The Team
The Operations Section of the Mineral, Oil and Gas Revenue Branch is an established, collaborative team focused on supporting the branch's program delivery, with a close-knit team of 9 staff. We work together to provide essential support, including financial reporting, policy analysis, office administration, and project assistance for the branch. We’re an established and supportive group that values strong relationships, making a real impact by helping manage revenue from oil and gas producers and mine operators for the province.

The Role
As an Office Manager and Financial Operations Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting program management and staff, coordinating office administration, human resources, payroll, procurement, records management, facilities, and asset management, as well as providing budget and financial support to the branch. In addition, this position performs critical monthly financial reconciliations related to the disbursement of funds to the BC Energy Regulator.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience providing administrative support services.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience coordinating data for financial reports and providing financial support services.


Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Post-secondary course work in financial management or a related field.

About this Position:
There is currently one (1) position available. 
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
