The Team 
HealthLink BC (HLBC) delivers digital and telehealth services that support British Columbians and health care providers across the continuum of care. As part of this important work, the Health Connect Registry team helps connect people to primary care services by supporting access to timely information and coordinated health system navigation. Working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, the team plays a key role in improving access to care and enhancing the patient experience throughout British Columbia.

The Role
Reporting to the Lead, Health Connect Registry, the Provincial Attachment Coordinator is responsible for data analysis, reporting, quality assurance, training, and providing technical expertise for the provincial Health Connect Registry database. This rewarding role supports the effective operation and continuous improvement of a province-wide service that helps connect people with primary care providers, making a direct impact on access to health care for British Columbians. Ideal for a detail-oriented and collaborative professional, the position offers the opportunity to apply analytical and technical expertise to support informed decision-making and strengthen health system outcomes across the province.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Certificate in Computer Science, Information technology, Library Science, Database Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or Health Administration or in a related field and a minimum of one (1) year of related experience*; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

*Related experience must include a minimum of one (1) year in all of the following:.

  • Experience coordinating database system use, the design of data queries and database reports.
  • Experience working with and designing quality assurance frameworks related to data base administration.
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders on the administration of vendor provided applications, updates and releases, bug and issue reporting/resolution, and user acceptance testing.
  • Experience in creating, formatting, and analysing reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

  • Experience working in a contact center, delivering digital service, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in the health sector.
  • Who identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit)
