The Team
The Strategic Project Services team is an established and growing group that provides project management, contract management, communications, and strategic leadership for Corporate Accounting Services. We are a diverse team of project managers, contract managers, communications specialists, and product owners who work collaboratively to develop new tools and services for government, while creating an inclusive environment where different perspectives and experiences are valued. The Role
As a Senior Team Lead, Business Analyst, you will lead business analysis, implementation, and training services that support government financial systems, while guiding a team of professionals and providing strategic advice on complex projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful change, support the modernization of corporate financial systems, and help ensure ministries have the tools and knowledge they need to effectively serve British Columbians. Through a combination of leadership, innovation, and partnership, you will play an important role in shaping the future of government services while growing your own skills and career in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Business or a related field; OR certification in Business Analysis.
- Minimum six (6) years of experience providing Business Analysis in a complex technology environment to support system application changes or improvements relating to corporate information technology projects.
- Experience working on IT projects and onboarding clients onto new systems.
- Experience developing, delivering or leading training in a complex technology environment to support system application development and implementation
- Experience providing ongoing functional or technical support for complex Financial Systems or Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
- Experience building and actively managing relationships with clients, partners, and interested parties.
- Experience managing staff as a Supervisor or Project Manager, including the management of individual workload.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Over three years of developing, delivering or leading system training and materials.
- Experience in assessing or advising financial controls and risks for a complex financial system.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days a week at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
