The Team
The Property Transfer Tax Operations (PTT Operations) team is an established and collaborative group made up of four Audit Analysts and one Senior Audit Analyst, all reporting to an Operations Supervisor. As the Senior Audit Analyst, you will work closely with the Audit Analysts while serving as the team's senior subject matter resource, helping to review and manage complex, high-risk audit cases that have a direct impact on property transfer tax compliance and administration. The Role
As a Senior Audit Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting fair and consistent property transfer tax administration by processing refunds, resolving complex taxpayer escalations, conducting financial reconciliations, auditing high-risk files, and providing quality assurance and training support. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of complex and meaningful issues, collaborating with a high-performing team to deliver transparent, equitable, and reliable service to the public. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, commerce, public administration, accounting or financial management; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience

  • Two years of audit experience.  
  • One year of experience interpreting and applying legislation.

Preference may be given to candidates with:

  • Additional years of audit experience.
  • Experience working in a tax administration environment.
  • Experience working with Gentax.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
