The Team
You’ll be joining DCS Corp Services, an established team of five that values diversity, inclusion, collaboration, and the different perspectives each person brings. The team works with programs across the district, including range, stewardship, tenures, First Nations, land and resource management, and scaling, helping provide accessible and responsive services to the public and natural resource clients.

The Role
As a Client Service Representative, you’ll help people and businesses across B.C. access information and navigate services related to Crown natural resources, providing support in person, by phone, and through digital channels. You’ll review applications, process payments, complete administrative tasks, and provide clear guidance while delivering kind, respectful, and inclusive “Service with Heart.” Your work will help build trust, improve access to government services, and ensure people from different backgrounds and communities feel welcomed, supported, and respected.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Secondary School graduation (Dogwood, GED) and 2 years related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Related Experience may include

  • Experience in keyboarding, word processing, and standard computer applications.
  • Clerical experience, including, working in a setting providing information and services to the public, and handling financial transactions.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Four years or more in clerical experience, education and/or training.

Willingness statements or provisos

  • Willingness to keep self informed on current trends and issues through ongoing training, education and participation in branch projects
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while standing at a counter or getting up and down from a chair frequently, for up to seven hours a day
  • Willingness to lift and carry boxes/mailbags weighing up to 20 pounds, for distances of up to 10 feet, and to manipulate them from heights which may require the use of a foot stool
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, for varying lengths of time
