The Team
You will work as part of a collaborative team alongside other team leads, analysts, support staff, the manager, and director. The role will also involve working with stakeholders and partners outside of the immediate team as needed to support the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
The Role
This role is responsible for managing large-scale, medium- to long-term projects with significant external impact, involving a range of internal and external stakeholders and substantial assigned resources. The position is accountable for defining, coordinating, and controlling all project activities to ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and specified quality standards.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, public administration, or a related field and two (2) years of related experience; OR
- Diploma in project management, business administration, public administration, or a related field and three (3) years related experience; OR
- Certificate or coursework in project management or a related field and four (4) years related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Related years of experience must be in each of the following:
- Experience independently managing projects.
- Experience in change management including drafting communications, proposing engagement strategies and end to end management of major project launches.
- Experience working with project management principles.
- Experience with procurement, resource, and financial management.

About this Position:
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home up to 4 days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
This position can be based out of any of the location(s) listed above.
