Description

The Team
The Client Engagement Unit, within the Digital Policy and Business Transformation Branch, is responsible for the WorkBC.ca website, including the Job Board, and all other related products and services, as well as public engagement and dissemination of, career and labour market resources. The unit works closely with a network of ministries and stakeholders to ensure that all British Columbians have access to the information needed to plan for and achieve a successful career.

The Role
The Senior Project Analyst, on the marketing and content team within the Client Engagement Unit, supports the implementation and ongoing management of digital and outreach initiatives related to WorkBC website. This position will lead/manage program projects with significant external impact, a range of internal and external stakeholders, and assigned resources. This position is responsible for leading, coordinating and writing content for the WorkBC.ca website, while engaging with key program areas and stakeholders. The analyst also leads the content strategy and coordinates content for WorkBC.ca. 

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience managing/leading projects.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in communications, specifically managing content for websites.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience establishing collaborative relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience editing and proofing materials.

Preference may be given to those with:

  • Experience working on large-scale and complex projects.
  • Experience leading content for websites and publications.
  • Experience using content management systems (i.e. Kentico, Drupal, CMS Lite, etc.).
  • Experience directing the work of others (professional employees and/or consultants).
  • Experience in contract management, including the development and execution of RFPs, and financial management.

This is a temporary opportunity until October 29, 2027. This position may be extended or become permanent.
This position can be based out of any of the location(s) listed above.
