The Team
Corporate Services supports the Ministry of Infrastructure by helping teams deliver important public infrastructure and providing financial, human resources, information technology, and other corporate services. The Role
As Manager, Divisional Operations, you will help the division plan its priorities, manage sensitive issues and information, coordinate projects, support executive communications, and oversee financial and operational matters. You will work with people across the ministry and government, bringing different perspectives together, supporting fair and accessible processes, and helping ensure decisions and services reflect the needs of diverse communities.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Completion of relevant post-secondary education and/or training in business, public administration, office administration, communications, or related field AND two (2) years of related experience
Related experience must include all of the following:
- Experience supporting a senior executive within a public sector environment, including identifying and researching emerging issues, gathering information and facts, and coordinating responses to sensitive, confidential, and politically impactful inquiries.
- Experience in a senior administrative role, including managing executive calendars, scheduling priorities, and coordinating meetings involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information including personnel, financial, procurement or organizational matters.
Preference may be given to candidates with the required combination of education and experience and:
- Experience in a senior administrative role within the BC Public Service.
- Experience working in a financial or capital environment.
- Experience supervising staff.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 or more days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and/or permanent vacancies.
