The Team
The Court Services Branch is responsible for the delivery of all court administration services in British Columbia and for supporting timely and equitable access to the court system. Vancouver Provincial Court is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who exemplifies the professional values of the BC Public Service, to join our team as a Registry Technician A.O.15.
The Role
In this role, you will provide technical and administrative support for court operations, including case processing, counter service, and maintaining accurate court records and case tracking information. You will work closely with registry staff, court clerks, Judiciary, legal professionals, justice system participants and the public, providing respectful, accessible and responsive service in a dynamic environment. The role also provides Deputy District Registrar services in the Supreme Court, delegated judicial services for Small Claims, and Virtual Bail Coordinator duties, when applicable.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED).
- 2 years experience working in a legal environment; OR 1 year experience working in Court Administration.
- 2 years of experience in keyboarding, data entry, word processing, standard computer applications and software programs (ex: Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Experience in Court Programs and Applications (JUSTIN, CEIS, CCD, ARC, CTAS).
- Experience as a Court Clerk and/or Registry Clerk.
- Experience with criminal court programs.

This is a temporary opportunity until 10/29/2027. This position may be extended or become permanent.
This position requires full-time, in-person work at the physical location listed.
