Description
The Team
The team provides administrative and operational support to program areas, helping ensure day-to-day business functions run effectively. It coordinates records management, financial administration, human resources and payroll processes, facilities, assets, and office operations. The team also works with corporate partners to support information management, workplace planning, and administrative services.
The Role
The role oversees the branch's administrative framework and provides guidance on administrative policies, processes, and issues. The position coordinates records management, financial tracking, payroll and leave administration, onboarding and offboarding activities, asset management, and office accommodations while ensuring compliance with government policies and procedures. The role also supports hiring processes, manages system access and technical requests, and prepares a variety of business documents and reports.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Secondary school completion or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum two (2) years’ progressively more responsible administrative experience; OR, successful completion of administrative certificate program and one (1) year progressively more responsible secretarial experience.
- Experience in records management, including ARCS/ORCS.
- Experience dealing with highly confidential and sensitive issues.
- Experience managing diverse workloads effectively and independently.
- Experience in word processing and developing spreadsheets and presentations using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with databases, intranet and other standard computer applications.
Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:
- Minimum one (1) year experience providing support to senior management.
- Experience with eApprovals, CLIFF and Government Systems.
- Experience in SharePoint.

About this Position:
This is a temporary/auxiliary opportunity until October 2027. This position may be extended or become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
