The Team
The Administration Team is an established and collaborative group of three, consisting of one supervisor and two team members who provide technical and administrative support for resource authorizations and regional operations programs. In this role, you will work closely with a variety of program areas, including Wildfire Risk Reduction, Stewardship, Engineering, Range, and Tenures, helping to support responsible resource management and deliver timely, accurate service to clients. The Role
The Resource and Contract Administrator plays an important role in supporting the efficient management of resource authorizations, licences, contracts, and financial processes. In this position, you will work with staff, clients, and stakeholders to provide guidance, maintain accurate records, and help ensure government services and resources are accessible in a timely and effective manner. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys problem-solving, while contributing to meaningful public service work and the responsible management of provincial resources in an inclusive and collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Secondary school graduation and one (1) year experience; OR
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Related Experience may include
- Clerical experience and/or training with preference for tenures administration.
- Experience in keyboarding, word processing, creating spreadsheets and working with standard computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Experience identifying problems and developing options for resolution within policies and guidelines.
- Experience coding, processing, storing, tracking and retrieving records and information.
- Experience computing a variety of mathematical calculations and using applications to enter and retrieve data, performing accounting functions and producing financial reports.
- Demonstrated experience and/or training with business writing, editing and formatting.
