Description
The Team
Registries and Online Services administers the Corporate Registry, OneStop Business Registry, Manufactured Home Registry, and Personal Property Registry under various provincial statutes. The team supports business registration and incorporation processes, delivers trusted registry services, and helps ensure statutory filings are processed accurately and in compliance with legislation. Staff work collaboratively to support businesses, the public, government partners, and other jurisdictions.
The Role
The role provides multi-channel service delivery for statutory filings and registration services across BC registries. Responsibilities include reviewing and authorizing filings, interpreting legislation and policy, responding to routine and complex enquiries, maintaining data integrity, and processing applications and fees. The position also contributes technical expertise, supports policy development, trains staff when required, and works with internal and external partners to resolve issues and obtain information.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum three (3) years clerical or administrative experience providing information and/or services to various levels of government, industry, public and private organizations.
- Experience using various computer programs (word processing and databases etc.) including entering, researching and explaining data.
- Experience interpreting, explaining, and applying legislation, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:
- One (1) or more years of experience processing applications and documentation.
- Experience with BC Registries legislations ( ie Societies Act, BCA, MH, PPSA etc)

About this Position:
3 Positions currently available as follows:
One (1) regular, full-time position.
Two (2) temporary, full-time opportunities until March 31, 2028. These positions may be extended or become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home up to 2 days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and/or permanent vacancies.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.
