The Team
The Court Administration division supports the delivery of court services across the province and is committed to providing consistent, high-quality service to the public and justice partners. The team works closely with regional management, provincial instructors, and subject matter experts to support employee learning and development. This collaborative environment helps ensure staff have the knowledge and tools needed to perform their roles effectively.
The Role
The Field Educator identifies training needs, develops and delivers training programs, and evaluates training effectiveness within their region. The role provides leadership, mentorship, and coaching to Provincial Instructors, including supporting their recruitment, development, and performance feedback. Working with managers, instructors, and subject matter experts, the Field Educator develops learning materials, facilitates training sessions, and helps build employee capability across the Court Administration division.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent (e.g. GED).
- Diploma in adult education or a related field, or related training development and coordination experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel programs.
- Experience in delivering a variety of organizational training initiatives.
Preference may be given to candidates with experience in any one or more of the following:
- Experience developing training and delivery models.
- Experience delivering virtual training.
- Experience preparing training plans and material.
- Experience identifying and finding solutions for training needs.
- 2 years combined registry and in-court operations experience.
- Experience with Court Administration case tracking systems (JUSTIN and/or CEIS).

About this Position:
This is a temporary opportunity until February 2028. This position may be extended or become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
Enhanced Security Screening will be required.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
